Have you ever seen a poodle in a poodle skirt? Thanks to Penny Lewis in Illinois,USA you can now say that you have! This is Abby, a fashion conscience red Toy Poodle, sporting her new poodle skirt. To make this outfit Penny used the vest pattern for the top with the bottom folded under then added the skirt piece from the dress pattern available here. Penny's 4-year-old son and Abby entered a costume contest dressed up in 50s outfits and came in second place, earning them a picture in their local newspaper.
Tina Shubert, from Scottsville, Kentucky in the US, made this John Deere dress for her dog, Dolly.
Pauline Ellem, from Sydney Australia, made this coat for Beau, who is part Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Since Beau gets a trim every few months, she made the coat extra large so it will still fit him when he is a lot fluffier. The coat is made from Polar fleece and she added a collar in a contrasting color. Pauline also mentioned that this was her first time following a pattern.
Barbara, from Kentucky in the US, made this vest for Miles, her miniature dachshund.
Lydia, from California in the US, made this jacket for Matix, a Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier mix using fabric remnants. She added a pocket to the back and also made a pattern to add a hood.
