Megan, attending college in Louisiana, USA, used the vest style coat pattern to make dresses for her Yorkie puppy, Mia. Weighing only 14 ounces, Megan said that she was having a very difficult time finding clothes for Mia and was happy to find the free pattern. She stated that the pattern fit Mia perfectly. I didn't ask her which size pattern she used, but I imagine that it was one of the smallest sizes.

She simply added a ruffle to the back of the vests to turn them into dresses. She said that Mia loves being spoiled and pampered and that everybody adores her little dresses. Here is Mia in her favorite red dress. Also shown are 2 other dresses that Megan has made for her. She made all of them by just adding a ruffle to the vest pattern.
